We breed and raise heritage breeds of pigs (Tamworth, Berkshire, Large Black x Red Wattle). Meat from these breeds is quite flavorful.
Our pigs are raised on pasture, hay in the winter, forage crops, whey from Sangha Farm, and woodland mast. In addition to an organic ration, they are able to root around in the dirt and eat all sorts of great tasting plants, just like pigs should. They have constant access to fresh clean water and shade. Our pigs also spend some of their time in our woods, eating tubers, roots, ground plants and tree mast. Not only does it make for very tasty pork, but it helps our woods become more productive, too.
You may purchase pork by the cut at our farm by appointment, other local farms, and area farmer’s markets We also sell whole and half hogs, cut to your specifications. If you are interested in a whole or half hog, please get in touch.
